The team were called out at 0042hrs to search for 2 people lost on descent from summit of Beinn Dorain having arrived there at around 2200.

The team arrived at Bridge of Orchy at 0145 and spoke to couple on hill by mobile phone. Both were OK but very cold and running on spot to keep warm. As there is no phone reception on the north side of Beinn Dorain it looked likely they were still somewhere between the col and summit on ridge or off towards Meall Garbh.

An Oban team set off to walk to that area and by 0315 heard whistles then located the pair at 0325. After attempts to warm them up the team started to walk the pair off the hill. Once day light arrived Rescue 177 helicopter was able to fly to meet the party, uplifted the missing people, and took them to Glasgow for a checkup.

The team returned to their vehicles by 0600 and drove back home to bed.
