15:17 - Oban MRT called out to Dunstaffnage helipad for a possible helicopter uplift to assist 3 persons cragfast on Ben More on Mull. Rescue helicopter from HMS Gannet flew directly to Mull and was able to lift the 3 people off safely. Team stood down at 16:45.

Oban MRT were called out to assist two persons in difficulty on Beinn Achaladair. Party had strayed on to a heavily loaded west facing slope which had started to move. Persons were winched to safety by Rescue 177 helicopter from HMS Gannet.

Team were called out at 17:50 to search for a Farmer who went missing while gathering sheep in the Kilmelford area. Extensive search of local hills involving Oban MRT, Arrochar MRT, SARDA, Strathcyde Fire and Rescue, Helicopter Rescue 137 from RAF Lossiemouth and around 20-30 local volunteers. Missing Person was located by local volunteers at around 2am in a remote forest area and evacuated to hospital by ambulance. He was later released from hospital without being admitted.

Team were called out at 1634 to find and assist 3 males stuck on the back of a corrie whilst trying to descend Ben Cruachan. Casualties were contacted and located by the light of their mobile phone as darkness fell. Team members climbed up to casualties and assisted Rescue 177 helicopter winch them off the hill. Casualties were warmed up in the team vehicles before they were discharged to return home shaken but without injury. Team stood down at 2108.

Team called out to assit Scottich Ambulance Service and Strathclyde Fire and Rescue evacuate a seriously injured male who had fallen a considerable distance down cliff/slope behind Combie Street, Oban.
